The Stone is off limits. The Elite Guards within
the Stone will see
any intrusion as a hostile
action. The job of the Defenders is to
prevent any from entering
the Stone and to keep peace within the
city of
Tear.
Criminals are to be hunted and killed, but there
is flexibility. A
Defender can determine if other
methods of justice can be arranged.
Channeling is not permitted in Tear, and women who channel
within Tear must be escorted out promptly. A warrant will be
set for channelers who do not comply willingly.
False dragons will not be tolerated in Tear at any time. They are
to be hunted and killed, wherever they may be.
All angreals that Defenders come upon must be turned into Captain
of the Stone Rodrivar Tihera. He will place the angreal in the
storage vault far beneath the Stone for safe keeping. These items
must be kept from those who would use their power to break the
world.
Trollocs, fades, dreadlords, and Seanchan are also to be killed on
sight where ever Defenders may find them.
During times of war (when a Defender is engaged with an enemy)
there is to be no assisting of the enemies (whether it be healing or other aid).
Doing so will result in dire consequences.
